Christmas market in Mouans-Sartoux: see you on 29 November
Christmas market in Mouans-Sartoux: I'll be at Terre d'Éveil on Sunday 29 November, 10 am to 5 pm. Access, parking, buses, makers and food truck.

A Christmas market in Mouans-Sartoux, before December has even begun: it takes place on Sunday 29 November, from 10 am to 5 pm, at Terre d'Éveil, and I'll be there with my handmade crochet pieces, including new Christmas pieces shown for the first time. It's a market of craftspeople and local creations, with a food truck and a gentle festive atmosphere. Here's what to know before you come: where it is, how to get there, who will be there and where to eat.
Where and when is this Christmas market?
- Date: Sunday 29 November, one day only
- Hours: 10 am to 5 pm
- Place: Terre d'Éveil, 520 route des Aspres, 06370 Mouans-Sartoux
- Landmark: behind Grasse hospital
- Entry: free
Terre d'Éveil is a centre for wellbeing and complementary care. For this one day, it hosts a market billed as 100% local makers. Everything is set out on the Terre d'Éveil market page.
Take care not to go to the wrong address: this market is not held in the centre of Mouans-Sartoux. The landmark to remember is Grasse hospital.
How do I get there and where can I park?
The market poster gives two options:
- By car: the car park at Grasse hospital, with 4 hours free.
- By bus: lines 5, 660, 662 and 6665.
If you're coming by bus, check the times before you set off, as the market is on a Sunday. For the journey, here is the route to 520 route des Aspres.
Who will be there?
All the stallholders make things with their own hands and come from the region, as Terre d'Éveil announces. The published list is presented as a foretaste. Here's what it contains so far:
- Jewellery: Calm & Light, Melodie Onirique, Aura Harmonie
- Illustration: Boem & Sea, It's Shunny (illustrations and oracles)
- Decoration and home: Emma B. Ateliers (candles), Axellou Créations, Mon Jardin Suspendu (herbariums), Les Terres qui tournent (ceramics), Lara (wood engraving), Les Flanneries de Charlotte (decorations and textile art)
- Sewing and yarn: Madame Chabada (sewing), Atelier Marinette (embroidery and a children's stall), and me for crochet
- Food and nature: Le Sablé By Kat (Christmas shortbread), Gouruche (beekeeper), Clara (olive oil and herbal teas), L'art Vibratoire (botanical creations, oils and macerates)
- And also: B Live Painting (portrait bar), Ahawee & Honehe (Native American crafts)
On the list, you'll find me under the name Lunea Crochet.
You buy the gift from the person who made it.
Where can I eat and drink on site?
The food truck for the day is called La Pause Truck, and it serves in EcoCup cups. According to the market page, its Christmas menu offers a homemade mushroom velouté (€5), a duck confit hachis parmentier, with a vegetarian version (€15), a chestnut cream mousse (€5) and Christmas crinkles.
For a snack, there will be homemade chips (€4), a maxi hot dog (€7) and, from around 2.30-3 pm, crêpes (€3.50 with sugar). As for hot drinks, mulled wine and Christmas hot chocolate are €4.
Should I bring cash?
Yes, and Terre d'Éveil asks for it. Most stallholders take cards, but a card terminal has a cost and not everyone has one. So bring a little cash. Cards are accepted on my stall.
New Christmas pieces, shown for the first time
I'm working on new crochet pieces for Christmas, and you'll be able to discover them for the first time on my stall on 29 November. I won't say more for now. To follow the news, find me on Instagram and TikTok.
My crochet pieces
I crochet my accessories by hand, one at a time, in Antibes. On the stall, you'll therefore find my pieces, made in small quantities.
Two of my pieces have a link with the season. ÉLIA, my scarf, came about because I can't stand wool on my skin and I hate scarves that tangle my hair. NOVA, my little UFO, I crocheted one Christmas, after spending an age looking for the right green.
You'll find more ideas in my handmade Christmas gifts, by profile. And if you can't come on the 29th, all my pieces are in the shop.
What other Christmas markets are there in Mouans-Sartoux?
If you're looking for the town-centre Christmas market, this isn't it. The Côte d'Azur listings announce three other events in Mouans-Sartoux, not to be confused with this one:
- The Foire aux santons: from 1 November to 24 December, at La Strada media library.
- The fair-trade Christmas market: 5 and 6 December, 10 am to 6 pm, on the media library forecourt.
- The Christmas market: Sunday 13 December, 9 am to 6 pm, in front of the town hall and at square Traversini.
